By accessing or using Jeramyl (jeramyl.com, app.jeramyl.com, and related services), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
These terms apply to all users, including free plan users, paid subscribers, and team members added to an account.
Jeramyl is an AI-powered bookkeeping and business intelligence platform. It provides tools for tracking income and expenses, uploading receipts, managing customer records, and generating financial insights.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time. We will provide reasonable notice for material changes when possible.
You may use Jeramyl for lawful business purposes. You may not:
You retain ownership of all data you input into Jeramyl, including business records, transactions, customer data, and uploaded files.
By using the service, you grant Jeramyl a limited license to store, process, and display your data for the purpose of providing the service — including sending data to trusted third-party processors as described in our Privacy Policy.
We do not claim ownership of your data and will not use it for purposes beyond service delivery without your consent.
AI and OCR accuracy: OCR scanning and AI-generated outputs — including extracted receipt data, transaction entries, categories, business summaries, reports, and forecasts — may be incomplete, inaccurate, or require correction. You are responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI and OCR results before relying on them. Jeramyl is not a substitute for a qualified accountant, tax advisor, lawyer, or financial advisor.
Financial projections: Cash flow estimates, runway projections, and business insights are calculated based on data you have entered into the platform. These are estimates only and may not reflect your actual bank balances or financial position. Where a bank connection feature is not explicitly provided, projections are based solely on user-entered records.
AI-generated insights are for informational purposes only and do not constitute financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice. Always consult a qualified professional for such matters.
Jeramyl offers free and paid plans. Current pricing, features, limits, and billing intervals are shown on the Pricing page and at checkout.
We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to current subscribers. Jeramyl does not store full payment card details.
Jeramyl may offer free trials of paid plan features from time to time. Where a trial is offered:
Plans may include limits on one or more of the following: transactions per month, businesses or workspaces, team seats, OCR scans, AI usage, reports or exports, and file storage or attachments.
Current limits for each plan are shown on the Pricing page. Jeramyl may enforce these limits automatically. Exceeding a limit may restrict access to the relevant feature until the limit resets or you upgrade your plan.
Paid plans are billed through our payment processor, Paddle. By upgrading, you authorize Paddle, as the Merchant of Record, to charge your selected payment method for the applicable subscription fees.
When you purchase a Jeramyl subscription, Paddle.com Market Limited ("Paddle") processes your payment, collects and remits applicable taxes (including VAT/GST where required), and appears on your billing statement and receipt. For more information, see Paddle's Buyer Terms.
You may cancel your subscription at any time. Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period. After cancellation, you will not be charged for future billing cycles.
Unless required by law, cancellations do not result in prorated refunds for unused time.
You may request a refund within 14 days of your initial purchase or most recent renewal.
If a refund is approved within this 14-day period, the most recent payment will be refunded to your original payment method.
To request a refund, contact us at support@jeramyl.com.
Google Drive backup is optional. If you enable the Google Drive integration, you authorize Jeramyl to create, read, update, and organize Jeramyl backup files and folders within your connected Google Drive account, solely for the purpose of backing up your Jeramyl data.
You can disconnect the Google Drive integration at any time from your account settings. Disconnecting will stop future backups but will not automatically delete files already copied to your Drive. Google's handling of files in your Drive is governed by Google's own terms and privacy policy.
On paid plans, you may optionally connect your Gmail or Google Workspace account to enable invoice follow-up reminder emails. If you enable Connected Gmail, you authorize Jeramyl to send emails on your behalf using your Gmail account — but only when you manually review the message and explicitly confirm sending. No email is sent automatically without your action.
Jeramyl does not read your Gmail inbox, email history, or contacts. The Gmail send permission is used solely for outbound reminder emails that you initiate and confirm.
You can disconnect Connected Gmail at any time from your account settings. Disconnecting immediately revokes Jeramyl's access to send emails via your Gmail account.
You may request account deletion by contacting support@jeramyl.com. We will process deletion requests within a reasonable period, subject to legal, tax, fraud prevention, security, payment dispute, or compliance requirements that may require us to retain certain records.
Jeramyl may suspend, restrict, or terminate your account for reasons including but not limited to: security risk, abuse, fraud, nonpayment, policy violation, or legal requirements. For serious violations, access may be blocked immediately without prior notice. We will provide notice in other cases where reasonably practicable.
Some records may be retained after account closure where required for legal, tax, payment dispute, fraud prevention, or security purposes.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Jeramyl's total liability to you for any claim arising from use of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months prior to the event giving rise to the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
Jeramyl is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or business opportunities, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.
The service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free.
OCR and AI outputs — including extracted receipt data, transaction entries, categories, reports, summaries, and forecasts — may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are responsible for reviewing all such outputs before relying on them for business, financial, or tax decisions.
Cash flow projections, runway estimates, and business insights are estimates based on data you have entered into the platform. They may not reflect your actual financial position.
Jeramyl is not a substitute for a qualified accountant, tax advisor, lawyer, or financial advisor. Nothing in the service constitutes professional financial, accounting, tax, or legal advice.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Jeramyl is legally established, unless applicable consumer protection laws in your location require otherwise.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the service will be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If that fails, disputes will be subject to the courts of the applicable jurisdiction.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or in-app notice at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
